Long-time WFHB volunteer Cindy Levindofske is pleased to announce a fundraising celebration to benefit the station.  Simultaneously celebrating WFHB’s 15th year on-air, and honoring Cindy on her 50th birthday, “Six Degrees of Cindy” will take place at the John Waldron Arts Center Auditorium (corner of 4th and Walnut Streets—Bloomington) on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at 7:30 p.m..  It will be an evening of musicians, storytellers, dancers, DJs, refreshments and more. …

Bloomington Community Radio, Inc. was founded in 1975 by a group of individuals who saw a need for community radio in the Bloomington area. WFHB became Indiana’s first community radio station in 1993, broadcasting at 91.3 FM.

WFHB exists to provide a neutral community forum for the exchange and discussion of ideas and issues, and to celebrate and increase the local cultural diversity.
